The film genres i enjoy the most is Action i like the intensity and uncontrolability it brings, and i also enjoy romance/comedy as the films in these genres that i watch are often very relatable to every day life, using a young teenage cast addressing issues which are often covered up.
My favourite film is the Shawshank redemption because it addresses ordinary every day themes such as friendship/conflict, it involves a heart warming happy ending, it is a realistic view into the lives of an inmate in that time period. I also respect the actors used Morgan Freeman (also in Invictus and Million Dollar Baby), Tim Robbins ( also in War of the worlds) and Bob gunton (also in 24 and desperate housewives).
The Storyline:
Set in the 1940's, a succesful young banker is imprisoned on a false accusation of killing his wife and her lover. However as the plot thickens we follow the bankers journey with help from soon to be longtime friend Red Andy defreuee escapes from the warden as a flee of hope and justice.
